Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad provides both Fire and EMS Rescue services to Hopewell Valley and surrounding towns, every day, as needed. The residents of Titusville and its surrounding towns can depend on us to respond quickly and professionally in times of crises.
You can ask yourself the following questions to see if you’d make an ideal Firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician:
• Do you like to help people?
• Do you want to make a difference in your community?
• Do others tell you that you handle crises well?
• Do you have some flexibility in your evening schedule to volunteer one day a week?
Are you a future member?
Any organization which depends on volunteers to provide service is always looking for new members. As a member of the Union Fire Company, you will make a huge difference in your community. Many patients and families will be comforted by your role as an Emergency Medical Technician or Firefighter. We need members to help keep our house in order. There are always numerous tasks for volunteers to maintain our firehouse. Some of these include painting, cleaning, renovating, maintaining equipment, maintaining grounds, etc…
And if those tasks aren’t for you, we also need help with administrative tasks. Running a firehouse means lots of paperwork, research, phone calls and correspondence. No additional training is required for administrative tasks so let us know how your current skills can meet our needs.
Please consider joining our membership and efforts!
